Help celebrate Family Literacy Day!  Parents, grandparents/guardians are invited to come and read with their students in the classroom from 8:40-9:10.

At Lochside, we truly value the important role caregivers play in providing enriching literacy activities at home. Even simple tasks such as reading the instructions to a board game, cozying up to read a bedtime story or creating silly stories together can be impactful. Parents and guardians have an incredible influence on their child's development, and we want to celebrate all you do.

Lochside staff and students are also welcome to dress up as a literary character of their choice. Please ensure all costumes do not have face masks or weapons. This is an optional activity for those who wish to take part.
